This woman from the old testament is one of the most interesting people & we’re so excited to study her and talk about her story today on the podcast! Not only do we look at Deborah’s faithfulness, we also talk about several take-aways for how to practically walk with God and obey His calling on our lives.

Live from our fall worship night at Clemson. Anna shares from John 8:1-11 - the story about the woman caught in adultery. This passage really reveals the heart of Jesus for us - his grace and kindness, and also his desire for us to walk on the path that leads to life.

We’re wrapping up our mini study on the Beatitudes! These last 3 are important and hopeful - blessed are the pure in heart, the peacemakers, and those who are persecuted for righteousness sake. In this final episode we talk about how to identify idols in our lives, how to initiate peace in our relationships and how even Jesus knew that this path couldn’t be done without Him, and what it looks like to accept His love and His help.

We’re studying the Sermon on the Mount! More specifically, the first 12 verses of it (Matthew 5:1-12). We believe this is so important to dive in on, and you’ll be blown away by the impact these 12 simple verses can have on your walk with Jesus. Today we study “blessed are the meek”, “blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness”, and “blessed are the merciful”.

We are going to spend the next 3 weeks talking about the first 12 verses of Jesus’ longest recorded sermon - the sermon on the mount. You can find the whole thing in Matthew 5-7, but the first 12 verses of chapter 5 are really special. Jesus shares what it looks like to be in the “kingdom of God” Scholars call this section the “Beatitudes”, and we’re excited to study Jesus’ words with you!

Emily & Anna wrap up the series by first recapping their favorites from the interview with Brookes and then talking about their own relationships with body image, health, and how to see all of it through the lens of our relationship with Christ.

To celebrate 5 years on the UGA campus, we asked Hannah Brencher - a writer that we love - to come speak at our fall worship night. She read a passage from Jeremiah 29, and spoke about what it looks like to seek God to find what really matters. You don’t want to miss this.

We’re back with the second half of our interview with Brookes Vaughan. As helpful and practical as last week was, this week is even more so. We talk about stress management tips, things to do if you’re experiencing brittle hair, hair loss, or acne flair ups, supporting your thyroid, combating bloating, an awesome recipe for an adrenal cocktail, and what your period is really telling you about your overall health. We’re thrilled about this new series called “Let’s Talk About It”. As women there are so many things that we struggle with silently because we’re too afraid to talk about them. We wanted to open the conversation to some of these less talked about topics. This week we get to interview the most amazing woman - Brookes Vaughan, who is a PA living in Athens, GA and has started a whole body health clinic specifically for women. Brookes is honestly SO helpful in this interview. We walked away completely inspired.

Today we dive into hormones and how they affect so much more than we realize, some hormone balancing habits that are very practical, and talk a little bit about body image.

Fall semester is here ! We’re kicking off the school year with a little welcome back episode - a re-introduction of who we are, and devotional from each of us.

It’s the last episode of this series, and we’re talking all about Senior Year. We got to interview Salem Jones from UNC and Bonnie Chapman from USC about their Senior year last year. We really dove into expectations vs. reality, how to get the most out of your last year, and how to go deeper in your relationship with God through the unknowns. We loved this conversation & no matter what year you are I think you can gain something from their perspectives.

It’s hard to believe summer is over!! Thank you for tuning in over the past 3 months for these devotionals. It’s wild to me how we barely gave any direction on what each one would be about, and yet each devotional was so unique and different from the last. God has been moving in the hearts of girls in our community and I’m so proud of y’all for engaging with Him and sharing. Today is the last one of the summer, and Piper O’Quinn (AYA founding member & Bible study leader) shares about learning to have hope in God’s character through all seasons. This is the perfect one to end the summer on. We hope you can carry this with you into the Fall.

Today’s devotional is from Emily Berryman, a senior at UGA and Bible study leader to the Juniors. Emily shares today about the eternal vs. the temporary - the horizontal compared with the vertical. All Earthly pleasures can be gifts from God, but ultimately they’re not what we were designed to live for. These things were created to POINT US to the one we’re made to live for. This is so encouraging!
