Today we’re talking through Matthew chapters 19 & 20. There’s a teaching on divorce, and on what it means to be first in the kingdom of God.

Today we’re studying chapters 17 & 18. First, it’s the transfiguration of Jesus - a nod to the old testament story when Moses is given the 10 commandments by God on a mountain. Then Jesus and His disciples have a long conversation about what it looks like to be great in the kingdom of God.

Today we’re taking a look at Matthew 15 & 16. We’ll see Jesus feed another huge crowd, but this time they are Gentiles. We’ll also see an important conversation between Jesus and His disciples about what it looks like to follow Him.

Today we’re reading and discussing Matthew chapter 14. We’ll see the death of John the Baptist, as well as 2 of Jesus’ most famous miracles.

Today we’re in Matthew 13. Jesus is teaching a crowd using parables. He paints a picture of what the kingdom of God is like, and more specifically how different types of people receive the good news of the kingdom. There’s a lot to dig into here and a good opportunity to take a closer look at our own hearts going into the new year.
Trusting While Waiting
This is the last episode of 2024, and leading right into the week of Christmas. We are going to read and talk about Luke 1 - the story right before the birth of Jesus. It’s all about what it looks like to trust and obey God when the story is still in-process.
